The Psychology of Leadership

In an era of relentless market shifts, rising complexity, and AI-driven transformation, today’s leaders must master not just strategy, but self-awareness. In this compelling keynote, Sebastien Page draws from his experience as Chief Investment Officer at T. Rowe Price—and from the research behind his new book—to explore the inner game of leadership. Rather than offering generic advice, Sebastien blends behavioral science with lived executive insight to uncover why even the most capable leaders resist change and what it really takes to adapt, inspire, and grow. With a focus on action over theory, he challenges notions about decision-making, authenticity, and influence.

Learning Objectives

  • Learn how to identify the psychological traps that limit leadership growth—and how to break free from them.

  • Discover how to create space for clearer, faster decision-making by managing internal noise and external pressure.

  • Explore research-backed tools for increasing influence, motivating teams, and navigating uncertainty with confidence.

  • Reframe authenticity not as staying the same, but as growing deliberately—and leading with intention, not instinct.

In this keynote, Sebastien Page brings decades of experience from the frontlines of investment management to reveal how leadership and investing are deeply intertwined. Drawing on his journey as Chief Investment Officer at T. Rowe Price, Sebastien explores the leadership principles that drive clarity amid chaos, discipline amid noise, and courage amid uncertainty. This session goes beyond financial insight—it's a playbook for thinking long-term, managing risk, and making high-stakes decisions when the pressure is on.

Learning Objectives

  • Understand how the core principles of investing—like diversification, discipline, and risk management—translate into stronger leadership practices.

  • Learn how to lead through uncertainty by applying probabilistic thinking, scenario planning, and emotional control.
